DUO:BSL is an experimental project I have started in 2016. I wanted to create something showing my connection to my birthplace and hometown while at the same time expand my network in Basel. I am taking portraits of people in Basel, couples or business partners, who are doing something together on a daily basis. Each of these DUOs have an unique project or topic that connects them. My goal is to capture these people, their synergy and elements they are working with using a double exposure photography technique. The pictures are shot with an analog camera and not post edited. 2 people, 2 frames in one picture (DUO).
While I am still thinking about the format of presentation of the project, it is sure that I will in some form present these pictures at some point and invite all of my DUOs to get to know each other.
